We are asking for donations for Joshua Project shipping costs-

Joshua Project has been impacted for several years by the quarantine from Covid and now with refugees coming out of Ukraine and shipping issues, there are a lot of challenges – From Tresha and Andy MaKnight in Romania, Hi Precious Friend, things are very tough right now, but we are praising Jesus for saving souls here every day. The food, clothing, over the counter medicine, and hygiene goods will be even more a massive need now. So, any and all of these things will be life changing here. We have already handed out our last supplies of food, hygiene goods, medicine, and clothing. The need is extreme already on top of what already was. We love you and pray for you daily. Are you guys ok? How can we pray for you?

This “item” is to donate to help with the freight costs of shipping  clothing, craft supplies, food, otc medicines, toiletries and many other goods for Tresha and Andy McKnight for Joshua Project to help kids who are HIV-Positive and their families. Recently these children are also being targeted with human trafficking.

If you click on 1 item, that will donate $25, 2 items will donate $50, etc.

It now costs $1.60 per pound to send things to them. Since Covid, shipping containers are becoming difficult to find. Due to the high costs of goods in Romania it is still much less expensive to ship jeans and shoes and food and medicines from here rather than to send money and try to purchase them there and the quality is higher as well.

It’s a lot of reading, but I have worked with Tresha and Andy for about a long time and their love and enthusiaism for the Lord and the work they are doing in Romania is evident in everything they do. And you can never go wrong helping a child.

If God isn’t calling you to help Joshua Project, He is calling you to help someone somewhere, you just have to look and listen a little bit.

11/19/2022 From Tresha-We are currently going into the cold of winter and food costs, clothing costs, fuel costs have all skyrocketed.   We are layering our clothing so we don’t have to turn on the heat yet. We have desperate people and anything you send helps.

3/23/2022 WE ARE CURRENTLY HELPING UKRAINIAN REFUGEES THROUGH JOSHUA PROJECT IN ADDITION TO THE AREAS THEY ALSO WORK IN WITH THE KIDS. YOUR GENEROSITY HELPS US SEND FOOD, MEDS, BLANKETS, TOYS, TOILETRIES AND EVERYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE.

8/4/2022  WE ARE CURRENTLY COLLECTING FOR A CHRISTMAS SHIPMENT. WE NEED BLANKETS, FOOD, CLOTHING, SMALL STUFFED ANIMALS, TOILETRIES, OTC MEDS, CRAFT ITEMS.

9-10-2022 We visited friends in Iowa who helped us with donations from Caring Hands thrift store and Iowa Genaology Society. They gave us so many items that we need desparately need help with the shipping costs which have gone from $1.55 to $1.60. Please donate if you can.
